It’s ironic how DOGE-Bags everywhere are laser-focused on ridding the government of waste fraud and abuse using a corporate scale as criteria. When it’s the lower classes ultimately getting stuck with this entire bill. This is a government paid for by taxpayer dollars, so if we go by their publicly traded company standards, that makes the US Citizens America’s shareholders. Last time I checked, even in the corporate structure, that makes you beholden to us, not vice versa. The United States is the wealthiest country in the history of the world. We can have all the nice things we want. If only corporations and the rich paid their fair share of taxes. But until then, they’ve forfeited their seat on the nation’s board, and “We The People” don’t consider air safety, consumer protections, health care, national security, and democracy wasteful, fraudulent, or abusive. However, as the financiers of this regime, Trump and Musk’s behavior over the last month has been all of the above. Perhaps it’s time “We The People” should start ridding the government of them.
