Today, Donald Trump held a “Board of Peace” gathering. Picture a collection of Skeletor-like warlords but with much thinner skin. And what, you ask, was so important to the MAGA “peace” agenda that required a murderous meeting of the mindless? The US and Israel are once again joining forces to bomb the sand out of Iran, which is about as even of a fight as 90’s Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Goldberg, Camel-Clutching the Iranian marching powder out of the Iron Shiek’s corpse. And yet this sudden sense of urgency to carpet bomb Iran into a Persian rug is raising more than just the Ayatollah’s unibrow. I mean, I thought Trump said he fixed the Middle East in 2018 when he tore up Obama’s nuclear agreement and single-handedly allowed Iran to build an all-you-can-eat-nuke buffet for the Israeli Iron Dome. Or back when he learned that he couldn’t even negotiate “concepts” of an agreement into a coherent thought, let alone a multi-national nuclear treaty. Leaving Trump stuck between Iraq and a hard place, with no other choice but to lie his way out of another unprovoked attack, where: “The victim had it coming!” So here we are, right back where we started, and only months removed from just the 2nd most embarrassing ‘Mission Accomplished’ in Republican history. So, either Trump is sticking with the crackhead definition of “winning,” or the Epstein cover-up has entered the Middle-East leg of the tour.
