Besides nauseating competent viewers with a masturbatory reimagining of his corruption, Trump spent the majority of his State of the Regime speech proving his cost-cutting campaign promises were nothing more than a basic-bitch bait-and-switch. According to the two-faced Trump himself, Americans should expect “a little disturbance” due to his counterproductive tariffs and economic blunders. A far cry from the “American Golden Age” he was boasting about out of the other side of his mouth. Only when you read the fine print on his DOGE-Y plan can you recognize that this utopia doesn’t apply to the average citizen, only his 1% co-conspirators. Trump and his autocrat wannabe fanboys are far more concerned with alleviating Russian sanctions than the cost of US groceries. Including Speaker Johnson’s shitfaced Chief of Staff arrested for DUI after Trump’s speech, the GOP is so drunk off power and tainted MAGA Kool-Aid that their judgment is clearly impaired. They are just lucky smellavison doesn’t exist because otherwise, the American public could smell the reek of propaganda on Republicans’ breath from the comfort of their living rooms. It’s only a matter of time before one of these delusional enablers tries to spin Trump’s lies into some sorta win-win for the fact-checking industry. Yes, they are intentionally misinformed by right-wing social media influencers all the time. But when did stupidity become an acceptable legal defense for complicity?
